Heading to Disneyland Park is always a magical experience but it becomes especially magical during the holidays. For many people that visit Disneyland, they want to make sure they don’t miss anything important. These travel trips will help you cover the most important aspects of Disneyland when you visit during the Holidays this year.
1. Make sure you see the ‘World of Color – Winter Dreams’ show
This all-new holiday twist of the ever popular after-dark “World of Color” show is a must see when you visit the park during the holidays. The show happens on Paradise Pier in Disney California Adventure Park and is the perfect finale to a merry day of holiday fun at Disneyland and California Adventure Park. With technology that amazes each and every time you see it, the honor choir and music make this a must for your list of activities.
“World of Color – Winter Dreams” is hosted by Olaf the snowman from Walt Disney Pictures’ animated feature “Frozen” so expect to see parts of this new animation mixed with the classics we all love. New music and special effects have also been added.
Since “World of Color” is such a popular show, make sure you get your FASTPASS tickets right away when you enter the park as this will secure you a seat for the show. Head on over to the distribution area by Grizzly River Run to get your FASTPASS tickets for World of Color. Remember, these tickets are first come, first served so make this your first stop as you enter the park.
2. Visit the Sisters from “Frozen”
When you visit Disneyland, make time to stop in Fantasyland so you can meet the ever beautiful and enchanting sisters from “Frozen”. Guests can expect to see the fearless and optimistic Anna (pictured on the right), and Elsa (left), who has the power to control snow and ice.
3. Rev up your Holiday Spirit in Cars Land
Cars Land is one of our family favorites and we just love seeing it all decorated for the holidays. From Mater to Lightning McQueen, the Cozy Cone Motel and more, Cars Land is the perfect place for family fun that everyone in your family will enjoy. If you have never been to Radiator Springs in Disneyland before, you are truly in for an amazing experience. Make sure you get your FASTPASS tickets for Radiator Springs Racers right after you secure them for “World of Color” as the wait times on this ride can be very long.
4. Celebrate ‘Disney ¡Viva Navidad!’
“Disney ¡Viva Navidad!” is a merry celebration inspired by the warmth and joyous spirit of the Latino culture. Take time to soak up holiday traditions, music and of course dancing. ‘Disney ¡Viva Navidad!’ is located in and around the Paradise Garden area of Disney California Adventure. Guests can enjoy special activities including live Latino music, dance lessons, holiday foods and, the “Disney ¡Viva Navidad! Street Party.”
5. End a Night with Disney Magic
“Believe … in Holiday Magic” fireworks spectacular is the perfect way to end an evening at Disneyland as the light nightly snowfall flutters around in the sky on Main Street, U.S.A.. Your family will experience memories that will last a lifetime.
